Pretty in Pink

A few weeks ago Mia got the "Pretty in Pink Supreme" play gym from Ji's friend Andrea and it has been quite the hit: Lots of things to look at and some background music. Today Ji noticed that Mia did grab a hold on to one of the little toys suspended from the top - another little step towards becoming a big girl.

Juggeling two "little ones"

As the picture clearly shows Ji has to juggle not only baby Mia but also Mr. Mimi who now has competition for his favorite spot - which he still somehow managed to get on this occasion. In general he is a good "big brother" and is trying to alert us when Mia cries - he really his concerned then - and also closely monitors the morning diaper changes and feedings.
Other news is that the baby carries had his successful debut last weekend when it was nice and warm: Mia felt comfortable enough to fall asleep and was looking around with big eyes before that.

Getting ready for spring

Spring shouldn't be to far away now even though we had 4 inches (10 cm ) or snow on Monday and the coldest night for that date in more than 50 years on Tuesday (14° F or -10° C ):


So last weekend Ji did some research and we got a Björn carrier so that we can take her round and abound outside when these milder temperatures finally start without having to push a baby cart.

The new schedule with four feedings seems to be working well and Mia has a good mix of naps and active time during the day and sleeps longer during the night:
