Ute had suggested that we all meet for a cooking class for children at a Wegmann's store not too far from her house. It turned out to be more a workshop for deserts but the children liked it of course
Mia's partner was Brooklyn
At the end all was covered with a thick layer of white chocolate
Then we stopped at Ute's place for some dinner and the children used up some of their calories on the trampoline
When the Ringling Brothers stopped with their circus we went on the very first day to see them at the Verizon Center on a Thursday evening. One hour before the show the pre show started. We could walk up right to the action and it was really exciting for Mia
Some TV crews were there as well
There was a little dance performance
Mia could pose with a clown
and the lion tamer
Then it was time for the big show.
There were tigers and lions
We all were invited at Suzette's surprise birthday party. It was fun for everybody and especially the kids. Unfortunately we didn't bring the camera but a cell phone camera is better than nothing
On a cool and windy Sunday morning we decided to check out the St Patrick's Day parade in Washington DC.
There was everything to see from Irish Dance schools, Irish terriers and some leprechauns
When the parade was over Mia tried a few dance steps on her own
After another big snow fall on Thursday with about 25 cm (10 inches) of snow we decided to drive to Liberty, Pa again for some more skiing.
On the drive on the George Washington Parkway we saw the ice on the Potomac had a thick layer of snow
All the snow looked beautiful in the morning sun
At the school Mia and Larissah had a little snow ball fight
At Liberty it was a bit crowded but we still tool the ski lift a few times
After being in Germany for five days for a business trip it was time for papa to come back home. Mama and Mia already waited outside customs at the airport
