Klingenmünster

We finally managed to get together with our LSU gang after five years: Beth was in Germany for a business trip and we decided to rent a place in the Wine Street in the Palatinate for a weekend

The idea was to spend some time together with hiking and good food and wine. Of course the castle overlooking the village of Klingenmünster was a good place ro go. Mia was happy that Anthe had brought her dog Banu

Some refreshments for the adults

Downhill is always nice than uphill

After the hike we were hungry for dinner

Some relaxing time at the weekend house

Banu had to stay out of the living room because the owner of the vacation home has a dog allergy - but Mia kept an eye on her and took this picture
We also sampled and bought some wine at a winery

First and last Snow of the Winter

The first snow this winter in Heidelberg came as a bit of surprise after the cherry blossom. It didn't stay in the city but on the Königsstuhl mountain 400 m over the ciy we could go for a walk

Half way down someone realized that the snow was perfect for a little snowball fight

So at least we made good use of the little snow we had this winter
