Flying back

 On the last day of the year we were flying back to Frankfurt

At home we unwrapped the Christmas presents under the Christmas tree but only Mia managed to stay up until midnight

Back in Shanghai

After returning from Zhejiang we also stopped by at Mia's favorite bakery chain.

The hotel was already decorated for the Chinese New year - the year of the snake

We also went for some last minute shopping at Metro and Declathon. Its almost a tradition that Mia checks out some of the sporting goods at the Declathon next to her grand parents place

 

Zhejiang Countryside

 We started the day with a breakfast at our hotel

Then our host drove us into the country side and stopped a a small park

Next stop a coffee house in a tea planation

Changxing

Uncle Didi had a standing invitation to Zhejiang and he was not able to go he thought it would be polite if we would go for him. So we hopped on the train to meet the same person who was also our guide in the summer of 2023 when we made a  tripo lake Tai. Nowadays no ticket is needed - a scan of the passport at the platform is all that is needed and we only had a receipt from booking the train

After we got picked up at the train station in Huzhou our hot dropped us at a nice hotel in the hills outside Changxing in the northwest of Zhejiang province, We even got big child friendly room

Then we were shown the seat of the county in four office towers

Then we had to join a big formal dinner

Sightseeing

After a lunch with the grand parents we headed to Nanjing Lu - the famous shopping street that we have not visited in years

At the end of Nanjing Lu

Then dinner with Li at Huaihai Lu
