The Wadden Sea is a UNESCO world heritage site. its the largest tidal flats system in the world and xtends along the coasts of Denmark,
Germany and the Netherlands. Of course there is a visitors center on Norderny and of course a day was earmarked for a visit there.
The weather was perfect to spend a few hours inside
One of the trips took the class to the lighthouse across the island
Mia and her class went for a 5 day trip all the up north to the North Sea island of Norderney. After a long train ride where they had to change trains in Bremen they had to take a ferry to get to the island
Of course they had to check out the beach facing north
The girl scouts took part in an first aid class offered by the Red Cross
It took almost eight hours bu then there was a lot to learn and to practice
Almost on the day one year after a trip to the library in Stuttgart Mia and Ji went for another trip.Before heading for the library they stooped at the illusion museum
Then they stopped at the library
The community garden we are participating with for a year now had organized a little festival to present itself to the neighborhood. Ji had made some cakes and Mia helped to get them to the garden - since she was already there she stayed for some time
At the end there was a lizttle concert by a local artist
