Trip to New York City

After almost nine years we finally crossed the Atlantic for a trip to the US. Mia had picked New York City as the first stop.

 
To get there we first had to spend eight hours on a flight from Frankfurt to Newark. With more than hundred movies to pick the time passed pretty quick for Mia

 

 

Back on Us soil we first had to get through immigration 

 

From Newark we took the train to Penn station in Manhattan and walked to our hotel from there. The room was kind of small - especially with the sofa bed pulled out there was almost no space for the luggage  - bu the view from the room was spectacular

From our hotel in Midtown we too the subway to Christian's old neighborhood in lower Manhattan to spend the evening by the water and enjoy the view of the Brooklyn bridge

But first we stooped at a Chipotle on Fulton Street to pick up some to-go or dinner - at a store wee knew from our past visits

O n the way back to the hotel we stopped at Times Square - which was super crowded

Day 3 of the London Trip

In the morning the girls heaed to Buckinham palace

In the evening evening everyone dressed up for dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant and a musical

On the bus back home

On the first full day of their London trip the scouts checked out some of the famous sights
