A visit from Wuppertal

On their way from Wuppertal to the Lago Maggiore in northern Italy, Andreas, Janine and Caroline stopped for a day in Heidelberg. Like for their last visit six years ago we took them to the Neckarwiese

Summer Fest at Haus der Jugend

Like in the two years before Mia's hip hop group performed at the summer event of the Haus der Jugend on the last weekend before the start of the summer vacation

New Passport

Two weeks after a trip to the US consulate in Frankfurt - where we had to leave at 5:30 am for a 7:00 am appointment - Mia received her new passport in the mail

 On the last day of the Campore the awards were given out and some girls passed to the next level

Saying good bye for the summer

Tessa will be gone for a year and spending a year at a High School in Canada

Like in the years before the girl scouts ended the school year with a camping trip to the Natfreundehaus in Zwingeberg at the river Neckar

Meeting point was the Main station in Heidelberg

Olympic trip to Paris

On a day off at school the ladies hpped on an early train to Paris to see the city 24 day before the opening of the Olympic games - leaving a bit after 6 am and arriving at Paris Est at 9:50 am.
