Changxing

Uncle Didi had a standing invitation to Zhejiang and he was not able to go he thought it would be polite if we would go for him. So we hopped on the train to meet the same person who was also our guide in the summer of 2023 when we made a  tripo lake Tai. Nowadays no ticket is needed - a scan of the passport at the platform is all that is needed and we only had a receipt from booking the train

After we got picked up at the train station in Huzhou our hot dropped us at a nice hotel in the hills outside Changxing in the northwest of Zhejiang province, We even got big child friendly room

Then we were shown the seat of the county in four office towers

Then we had to join a big formal dinner

Sightseeing

After a lunch with the grand parents we headed to Nanjing Lu - the famous shopping street that we have not visited in years

Trip to Shanghai

A week after Ji we also traveled to Shanghai to be there on the birthday of her father. Before we left we set up the Christmas Tree and the presents so all would be ready for our return a week later

Ji picked us up at the aiport in Pudong but we had to wait a bit

For the birthday dinner we tried a new restaurant around the corner

Sixteen years old

Unfortunately Mia's birthday was on a Monday and she had to go to school in the morning. But when she got back a cake was waiting for her

After Mia's dance performance it was midnight when we finally got home. The perfect time to have some champagne with the birthday girl

Two days before the birthdays Stefan came for his traditional birthday visit

In the evening he watched Mia's performance at the Haus der Jugend

 Mia and her friend did an all day  tour to Idar Oberstein all by themselves
