Two Hikes

On another cold winter weekend Mia went hiking with her friend Nisha on one side of he Neckar and we on the opposite side around the castle. After many cold days there were long icicles at the castle walls

 It also looked nice from Mia's side

Belated Christmas Presents

When Colleen returned to Heidelberg after a unplanned long stay in Chicago because of Corona she had some presents for Mia. They had been planned for Christmas but it was still a great surprise in February

 

Colorful Visitors

Some of the rose ringed parakeets that are quite frequent in Heidelberg stopped at our balcony for a few minutes. Some colorful visitors in the middle of winter

Snowy Weekend

We got a bit of snow this months and already went to some nice walks on the previous weekend but Mia didn't feel like joining. This Sunday she came along

 Shocked like everybody else we followed the news coverage when a mob stormed in Capitol in Washington DC

It was already past Mia" bed time and she had taken a shower but she stayed up late to follow the events
