New Urban Art
Down the street from our apartment the chimney of the city heating plant has been turned into a giant pencil. To celebrate this big piece of art the city organized a party with live music and drinks - we had to check it out of course

Tour of the Owls
Back in Dijon we tried the self guided tour of the Owls that took us through the old town. But first we got a fresh baguette as a snack
Also. a quick look at the market
The cathedral was a starting point for the tour which was indicated by small metallic owl signs in the pavement
Touching the owl is supposed to bring luck

Beaune
A thirty minute drive south of Dijon is the city of Beaune, which is also famous for its vine. Our first stop was a mustard factory which is the supplier for all top restaurants in France and even used to be the mustard of choice on Air Force One for the US president until Trump
After we tasted and bought a lot of mustard we checked out the Hôtel-Dieu which was a hospital for more than 500 years - from 1441 until 1971.
Back at our hotel in Dijon there were more fancy cars at the parking lot
