We had planned to also stay a few days at the Baltic sea but all hotels were booked in the third week of August - because of the pandemic many people stayed in Germany for their vacation and no rooms were available on short notice.
We still made a day trip to the hanseatic city of Wismar about 100 km east of Hamburg at the Baltic sea. It was raining when we left Hamburg but luckily the sun came out when we arrived
