Prater and Ice Skating

Of course we also had to check out the Prater - and old amusement park with ts famous Ferries Wheel. As it turned out the park with its many rides didn't officially open until March 15 but at least the Riesenrad was running

All the rides were still closed

The Ferries Wheel had a little museum  with the history of the Prater attached

 Back in the city center we walked past the Augustinum museum and the imperial place the Hofburg/

The parliament building looked nice in the evening light

In front of the city all we discovered a huge ice skating rink called "Wiener Eis Traum". It was two big rinks connected by long winding lanes
