Immenstaad, Lake Constance

For the Easter break we decided to check out Lake Constance (Bodensee) which is about a three hour drive from Heidelberg. It is bordered by Germany, Austria and Switzerland and we stayed in Immenstaad on the north shore we we had found a small apartment as vacations rental.
After checking into to the apartment we explored the small village which had a nice waterfront

It was to cold for the beach but Mia checked out the playground

A zeppelin was passing over the town

There was also a miniature golf course

After dinner we enjoyed an evening at the beach

 In old times the villagers had to bring chicken over the frozen lake to a monastery on the Swiss side of the lake. A small monument was a reminder for that tradition
