We decided just four days ago to book a one week vacation on a pony farm in Schleswig Holstein - in the northern part of Germany - not far from the Baltic sea.
The farm was located in a hilly area - the Holsteinische Schweiz - not far from the highest part the sate - the 168 m high Bungsberg.
The drive on Saturday had been long because of heavy traffic and long traffic jams so first we checked out the coast only 14 km from the farm
In the afternoon the children who had missed the introduction on Saturday were introduced to the ponies
Mia got to ride 28 year old Lisa - the oldest pony on the farm
